Release Notes - 21 Oct 2016
Below are the features added in this release :
1. Scrollable Tabs in Dashboard
In Dashboard view, if number of tabs are more than one line, user can scroll by clicking on left/right arrow. This helps multiple lines of tabs as was the case earlier.
2. Tab for cloudmunch modules
CloudMunch modules (Dashboard, Workspace, Hub) can be accessed via tabs (icons on top right side of the application) so that options are easier to look for and access. This also avoids another browser tabs being opened for every module access.
3. Ability to edit integrations via wizard
Integration can now be edited only via wizard and same has been removed under edit integration as option so that one flow is maintained to add/edit integrations.
4. SAML integration into set-up
CloudMunch platform authentication can be integrated with any SAML identity provider implemented in the Organization’s network. SAML services must be configured within the SAML system and within CloudMunch setting to enable handshake for providing authorized details to CloudMunch.
5. Gerrit Insights
With Gerrit integration, user is able to get different view cards for eg. Gerrit Merged Changes Trend, Gerrit Abandoned Changes Trend, Trend for Changed that are in open state, Gerrit Project Info details (such as Name of the project, its state etc.), Gerrit Branch details etc.
6. Jira insight level insights
JIRA metrics, view cards can be generated at global (instance) level i.e., if user has access to multiple projects, metrics/view cards can be generated for all those projects simultaneously (by accessing ‘Instance Level’ option in JIRA integration flow).
7. Restricted Application access
Any application is now provided with access control description even for read. This would mean unless you have read access, you cannot view an application within a team. However, a team admin can see all the applications in the team.
All applications will not be displayed for all roles. For eg. Admin (read-write) will have privileges to access all applications and at user (read-only role) level, only those applications created by user can be accessed/seen.
8. Add Global Dashboard
Now, Global dashboards can be cloned/added by clicking on “+” sign in Dashboard view. One can clone from Engineering, Ops, Compliance, Global or New one can be created. This helps in cloning the dashboards. This cloning option is also available from drop down for each of Global Dashboard types.
9. Trigger on SVN change
Jobs can be scheduled based on ‘Committs’ for SVN Integration. This can be set under Tasks->Schedule->by choosing SVN as integration.
10. API key expiry
API key would be expired after stipulated number of days.
